Ian S. Bloom is a founding partner of UBFK Law Group, focusing his practice on real estate law, with additional expertise in criminal defense and municipal court matters. Ian has been admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey since 2012 and holds a law degree from Albany Law School.
Throughout his career, Ian has developed a robust understanding of New Jersey real estate law, including zoning, land use, property transactions, and real estate disputes. His experience serving as a member of the Howell Zoning Board provided him with deep insight into zoning regulations, permitting, and municipal procedures—an advantage that helps him navigate clients
through complex real estate challenges. Ian’s familiarity with municipal processes also equips him to advocate effectively for clients in property and zoning-related cases, ensuring their
projects move forward with compliance and efficiency.
In addition to real estate, Ian’s early career focused on criminal defense. While interning at both the District Attorney’s and Public Defender’s offices during law school, he gained substantial
courtroom experience, particularly with DWI, traffic, and drug-related cases. Shortly after passing the New Jersey Bar, Ian opened his own practice in Hamilton, New Jersey, where he
continued representing clients in vehicle and traffic matters, building a strong foundation in litigation and advocacy.
Ian brings a practical, results-oriented approach to every case, leveraging his unique background in zoning and municipal matters to provide clients with effective legal solutions in real estate and beyond.
