The Triple Play REALTOR® Convention & Trade Expo, presented by the New Jersey REALTORS®, New York State Association of REALTORS® & Pennsylvania Association of REALTORS®, is the largest annual convention and trade show of its type in the U.S. – the premier event for the real estate industry in the tri-state area.

Over 7,000 industry professionals take the opportunity to learn new skills at more than 100 educational sessions, hear top national industry speakers & trainers, discover the latest trends, network with their peers and explore the latest products and service innovations at the 300-booth Trade Expo.

Triple Play 2024 is scheduled for December 9-12, 2024 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. We recognize there are still many post-pandemic unknowns that may affect our event, as well as your 2024 schedule and travel options. However, we hope you will continue to submit outstanding content. Opportunities may arise for you to deliver your session virtually.

REALTORS® are shifting their thinking to long-term changes and what their business may look like in the post-COVID world. Now more than ever, educational content focused on emerging trends, adapting business models and developing new ways to engage with customers will be critical.

Each state association convention committee, association staff and the Tri-State Convention Committee review proposals and select the program speakers based on overall program quality, speaker credentials, timeliness of the topic, relevance to the convention program and price.

Applicants will be asked to categorize their course submissions by topic, as relevant to the eight session tracks offered at Triple Play.

  • Appraisal: Real Estate Appraisal, property valuation or land valuation, practices of developing an opinion of the value of real property.
  • Brokerage Management: Course content directed toward owners, brokers, managers and supervisors to inform and educate on best practices for risk reduction for brokerages.
  • Commercial: Course content geared towards seasoned commercial agents seeking to expand their knowledge base and residential agents seeking educational opportunities to learn the basics of commercial real estate. Course content targeted towards investment or income property and buildings or land intended to generate a profit either from capital gain or rental income.
  • Environmental and Contamination Issues: Environmental and contamination issues that affect real estate transactions and property value. (Radon, mold, asbestos, meth labs, land contamination, fires, flood plains, etc.)
  • Implicit Bias and Cultural Competency: Education and training on implicit bias and cultural competency (subconsciously or consciously) during interactions with customers or clients in real estate. How agents evaluate, perceive and react to diverse groups of people with varied backgrounds and cultures will impact an agent’s abilities to work with people seeking real estate services. Implicit bias and cultural competency training improve relationships and raise awareness to discrimination in the housing market.
  • Legal and Ethics: legal information which pertains to such matters under real estate law: Title disputes, contract breaches, zoning issues, finance complications, real estate advertising, real estate agency, property defects and fair housing. Ethical practice and behavior in real estate transactions.
  • Property Management: What is involved in being a property manager? Who can be a property manager? Content educating Realtors on the practices involved in property management including but not limited to oversight of residential, commercial, investment properties or industrial real estate. Day-to-day repairs, financial obligations, security, maintenance and upkeep of properties.
  • Professional Development: Course content that advances the skills, traits and competencies that contribute to a successful career in the evolving real estate industry.
  • Sales and Marketing: Branding, advertising, sales promotion and public relations.
  • Social Media and Technology: Social media and the use of technology are integrated into our daily lives. Course content covering real estate tools (social media platforms), systems, and methods of organization used to sell, communicate, grow your client base and organize your communication with consumers and clients.
qualifications for continuing education

All submissions for CE credit (if applicable) will be managed by the associations thru the individual state governing bodies.  Speakers chosen to present a CE course shall be required to provide a timed course outline with specific learning objectives (following the CE course outline template) and complete instructor resume meeting individual state guidelines for course and instructor approval.
