Author and TEDx speaker Stacy Bernal is a Change Instigator, inspiring and empowering audiences around the world. A vocal proponent of diversity, equity, inclusion and representation, she believes everyone can create positive, lasting change in their lives, communities and ultimately the world.
Stacy’s 15 years of experience in the real estate industry as a Realtor, title marketer, loan officer, and home warranty rep has made her knowledgeable in all aspects of a transaction. Today, she combines that knowledge with her passion for DEI to facilitate necessary but often uncomfortable conversations with audiences of all backgrounds.
Stacy has been a Continuing Education Instructor for the Utah Division of Real Estate since 2015. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Weber State University with a BA in Public Relations and Advertising and was named the 2013 Outstanding Graduate for her major. She also a earned a certificate for Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University.
Stacy is the founder of Awesome Autistic Ogden and the Bernal Badassery Foundation 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Her company, See Stacy Speak LLC, offers empowering keynote speeches, DEI workshops, and one-on-one coaching as well as an online, self-paced speaker coaching course.
Stacy published her first book, The Things We Don’t Talk About, in 2019. She has been featured on Chicago Now, Scary Mommy, Thrive Global, and Autism Parenting Magazine. She lives happily with her family and fur babies near the mountains, where she enjoys all the amazing outdoor recreation Ogden, UT has to offer, like hiking, mountain biking, and trail running.
