David Sulock is Managing Director of Curren Environmental, an environmental consulting and contracting firm based in the Northeast. He has over 25 years of “hands-on” environmental experience relating to real estate. David has consulted both public and private sector clients.
David has a strong background in Due Diligence including Phase I (research), II (testing) & III (remediation) Environmental Site Assessments and has completed projects encompassing both hazardous and non-hazardous sites.
David has overseen site assessments investigation/remediation projects pertaining to contamination in both soil and groundwater on commercial, industrial, and residential properties. Project experience encompasses, risk assessment and quantifications, soil and groundwater investigations, soil and groundwater remediation and mold assessment and remediation. He holds licenses for Underground Storage Tanks in multiple states and has managed thousands of tank closure projects. David also maintains licensing for lead inspection, lead risk assessment, soil sampling and for helical pier installation.
Administratively, David oversees all Curren project managers and reviews final reports and scopes of work for technical accuracy and project relevancy. Peer reviews for both work completed and proposed work activities. Operationally, David has extensive experience coordinating investigative steps, implementation of work plans; report preparation and review; soliciting and reviewing contractor bids for Usual & Customary charges; field and remedial action oversight; and data reviews and audits of completed environmental activities for regulatory and technical compliance. David has overseen all project managers and field personnel for Curren Environmental for over twenty years.
David is an experienced environmental consultant, mold inspector, lead inspector and remediator for both residential and commercial sites. He is experienced in mold sampling techniques including media, air, viable and non-viable sample collection, and associated fungi data interpretation. He is knowledgeable in OSHA compliance, environmental standards, EPA, NJDEP (New Jersey), PADEP (Pennsylvania) and DNREC (Delaware) environmental protocols, and the proper use of personal protective equipment according to EPA and OSHA guidelines.
David has lectured on environmental topics for over 15 years. David has spoken at conventions, corporate events and in classroom learning. He is ARELLO (Association of certified for distance learning), although prefers in person engagement. David is a director of Curren Environmentalism Real Estate school and is actively involved with curriculum, class creation and presentation.
