Carolina Valderrama

Carolina Valderrama is an affordable lending manager in the Single-Family Mission and Community Engagement division. She manages relationships with Real Estate companies across the country and is responsible for educating real estate and lending professionals about Freddie Mac’s affordable products, tools, and resources available to them. Carolina also educates mortgage and housing industry professionals in Spanish.

Prior to her current position, she managed the CreditSmart® financial capability program nationwide and was responsible for the training and financial education of housing and mortgage industry professionals. She developed the Spanish version of the CreditSmart training for new facilitators and was the instructor of the program in both languages.

Ms. Valderrama is a leadership board member of HOLA, the Hispanic employee resource group at Freddie Mac. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication from Nicholls State University and an Accredited Mortgage Professional Designation from the American Bankers Association, and her education includes the George Washington University paralegal studies post graduate program.
